ANSWER:
Quick Answer - The District last passed new operational money in 2008 (with the Earned Income Tax), but had a standalone operational levy last passed in 2003.Â
Â
The District has received the same 3.60 mills from Inside millage the entire time with no changes or increases to that specific millage.Â

The District's end-of-year General Fund revenue in 2009/2010 was $13,298,079 and in 2021/2022 (the last full year of data) it was $14,527,349 an increase of $1,229,270. General Fund expenses in that time went up $2,040,653.

Ohio ranks 24th (pretty much the middle) of all States in terms of expenditures by student. Certainly not bad, but certainly not the highest.Â

Long Answer - The idea that the District has received a substantially larger amount of money without asking for an increase in funding in almost 20 years is not true. Providing data in a format that is easy to understand is also very difficult, as there are so many factors that make the data harder to understand. With that said, we have tried to make the data understandable as a comparison, but there are likely accounts, figures, or other numbers that are included or shouldn't be included. That is the nature of data, it isn't easy to have an apple to apple comparison, especially over 16 years.

Some facts for consideration:
- Inside millage has been 3.60 mills for the School since at least 1995. Nothing has changed in the actual millage, and the area has utilized the 10 mill inside maximum, so no additional inside millage will ever be granted to the District. That millage brought in $668,187.53 in 2008 and $944,723.41 in 2022 an increase of $277,535.88. Â
- State Funding has changed over the years from $6,178,766 in 2009/2010 (the furthest back we can find the data) to $7,258,795 in 2022/2023 (the latest data) an increase of $1,080,029.
- End-of-Year Revenue in the General Fund has increased over that time from $13,298,079 (2009/2010) to $14,527,349 (2021/2022) an increase of $1,229,270.Â
